Ingredients benefits

Unsure about Natural vs Chemical Treatments? Read our blog

Catnip is a member of the mint family that is commonly used as an insect repellent and is proven to be more effective than DEET. Its active component nepetalactone triggers a chemical response for fleas that makes them feel pain.

Quassia Bark is traditionally used as a digestive to treat fever, but is also an effective treatment against hair parasites such as fleas and lice. It has antiparistic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Lemongrass (for dogs) / Cedarwood (for cats) essential oil is a natural insect repellent.

Lavender essential oil is calming for pets and off-putting for insects.

Rosemary is an excellent natural flea, lice and tick deterrent.

Natural Spot on.

My indoor cats somehow managed to get fleas? And as I had read articles about what's in the traditional spot on and how fleas are becoming resistant to them, I thought I would give this a go. I first use the flea and tick dry shampoo , once that dried and cats were brushed, the next day I started using the spot on. I used it daily for a week, and the cats didn't mind it, one of them used to run away at the first sight of the chemical ones, and flinched once it was on, ( as though it hurt). These drops with the shampoo have been effective. I would recommend.

Environmentally friendly petcare

I was very pleased to find there is a non-ioxic, cruelty-free product to protect my cat.
I've just done the first week's treatment, so too early yet to see how effective it is. However, other reviews are very positive, which was part of the reason for going ahead with the order.

Free from fleas spot on for dogs not effective

Sadly had no effect on my dogs ,I had big hopes!
Tried it daily for 2 weeks and the fleas are worse than ever!
Smells nice though..

Dear Paloma
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sorry to read that our spot on treatment has not worked for you in this instance. Our treatment is proven effective as a preventative measure or to tackle problems if applied straight away after infestation. Due to its mild and natural nature it is not designed to fight infestation - it works longer term by creating an inhositable environment on which fleas fail to thrive. We have reached out to you by email to discuss and advise in more detail.
Kind regards
Laura

I have a cat and a dog and only wanted to try on product for fleas. I was advised to choose flea from fleas for cats as it would be safe for dogs also. My small dog had a reaction to the drops and developed sores which needed vet treatment to calm the sores and itching. Have not used the product since hence the reaction

Hello Helen, we are sorry to hear out product was not suitable for your dog and sad to hear your little dog is suffering discomfort. We go to great lengths to ensure our products are as safe as possible using the most effective, mildest and safest ingredients for each type of pet. although this is the first complaint we have had about this product unfortunately pets are like humans in the fact that they can have individual sensitivities and allergies to certain ingredients which usually manifest in skin reactions.
We have many customers who use the free from fleas cat drops on both their cats and dogs without issue as the base ingredients are the same but one of the ingredients has been adjusted specifically for cats as this ingredient in the dog version is not suitable for cats this ingredient has no known effect on dogs and is on the dog friendly safe list.

I hope your pet is recovering well and if we can be of any further help please drop us an email.

Regards

The Pet Guru Team.
